Mauga, the newest tank hero in Overwatch 2 arrives Dec. 5 with Season 8, but to kick things off, Blizzard has released the cinematic short film ‘A Great Day’. This character features a kit designed to bash through the front lines and brawl his opponents in close-quarter combat, by wielding two powerful chainguns that can either be fired individually or in unison.

Mauga also offers a host of new abilities to support his team as well, including breaking his way through the front lines with Overrun, a charging ability that can’t be stopped by any crowd control abilities. Hubble Captures Stunning Image of Evil Eye Galaxy Located 17 Million Light-Years from Earth

NASA / ESA’s Hubble Space Telescope captured a stunning image of the Evil Eye galaxy, also known as NGC 4826, located 17 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Coma Berenices. What stands out most is its bright yellow nucleus, which shines brightly amongst dark dust in brown and orange.

This relatively isolated spiral galaxy was first discovered by Edward Pigott in March 1779, and then independently by Johann Elert Bode in April of the same year, as well as by Charles Messier the next year. Astronomers note that the inner disk contains the prominent dust lanes of the galaxy, while the the stellar population exhibits no measurable counter-rotation.

2025 Ferrari F250 Hypercar Spied Testing at Pista Di Fiorano Racetrack

If you’re still wondering what the LaFerrari successor might look like, this 2025 Ferrari F250 hypercar test mule should be able to provide an early look. It was spotted at the Pista Di Fiorano, a private racetrack owned by Ferrari, in full camouflage, complete with a large rear wing and massive air intakes as well vents.

The rumored powerplant is a twin-turbocharged V6 engine, paired with at least three electric motors, making a combined 1,000+ hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. We should get more information as its 2024 reveal draws closer, but there are reportedly 599 coupes and 199 spiders planned for the 2025 model year. Atari Pong was released on this day (November 29) in 1972 and some may not know that the game was developed by engineer Allan Alcorn as a training exercise assigned to him by company co-founder Nolan Bushnell. Ted Dabney, the second Atari co-founder, was so surprised by the quality of Alcorn’s work that he decided to manufacture the game for release in arcades.

This two-dimensional game essentially simulates table tennis, where the player controls an in-game paddle by moving it vertically across the left or right side of the screen. A second player controls a paddle on the opposing side and the goal is to reach eleven points before their opponent. Points are gained when one fails to return the ball to the other, similar to other electronic tennis games that Bushnell had played before developing Pong.

Bushnell and Alcorn installed the Pong prototype at Andy Capp’s Tavern during August 1972 near the bar’s other entertainment machines: a jukebox, pinball machines, as well as Computer Space. Insta360 X2 Action Cameras Captured This Amazing 360-Degree View of Earth from Space

At the beginning of this year, two Insta360 X2 action cameras were launched into space aboard a solar-powered satellite and both are now orbiting the planet, capturing incredible 360° views of the stars, the Milky Way, and Earth. This is officially the first time ever a 360° action camera has reached outer space.

To make this achievement possible, Insta360 collaborated with Media Storm and SAR satellite company Spacety. It took approximately 12 months to modify the action cameras, including six months of R&D. One important modification was making the casing as well as internals capable of withstanding extreme heat and cold. Since the satellite circles the globe every 90 minutes, temperatures range between -94°F and 122°F (-70°C and 50°C).

Diablo 2 was released back in 2000, so it’s long overdue for a refresh, and that is why 3D environment artist Michal Wawruch used Unreal Engine 5 to create this ‘Durance of Hate’ remake. For those unfamiliar with the game, Durance of Hate is basically the lair of the Lord of Hatred, Mephisto and can be accessed by destroying the Compelling Orb in Travincal.

Don’t expect a remake of the full game, as Wawruch made this playable demo just for fun, as well as to develop workflow with Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite and Lumen.
