Coperni CD Player Swipe Bag 3D Printed
A 3D-printed alien tripod robot may be useful for some, but it just doesn’t bring back the same nostalgic memories as the Coperni CD Player Swipe Bag. It resembles a Sony DEJ611 portable CD player from 2000 and was recently showcased at the company’s F/W 2023 collection show in Paris.

No modern features were added, such as the ability to play MP3s, but it does feature a 3D-printed body and USB-C charging for the portable CD player. There’s no word yet on when or if this bag will be released. In related news, Sony’s D-50/D-5 was launched in November 1984 and became the first portable CD player, two years after mass production of CDs began. It offered the same functions as the full-size CDP-101 player, but did not have a remote control nor the repeat function of the full-size unit.
