HW Electro Debuts Solar-Electric Puzzle Microvan, Set to Hit the US in 2025

Japan-based HW Electro debuts their solar-electric Puzzle microvan, and it’s set to hit the US in 2025. Not just a standard car, the HWE Puzzle can also function as a mobile power source in case of a disaster, complete with a WiFi hotspot function that anyone can use.

With a maximum load capacity of 770 pounds, the HWE Puzzle measures 11.1 feet long, 4.8 feet wide, and stands 6.3 feet tall. Roof-mounted solar panels ensure that both the vehicle as well as other devices can stay charged in case of an emergency. For added safety, the vehicle also includes a crowbar and first-aid kit. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.

It’s official, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset has been officially announced, complete with an innovative All Big Core design. The unique configuration basically combines extreme performance with MediaTek’s industry-leading power efficiency and is ready to take on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as well as Apple’s A17 Pro in multi-core performance.

This chipset is built on TSMC’s third-gen 4nm process with four Arm Cortex-X4 cores boasting operating speeds of up to 3.25GHz and four Cortex-A720 cores operating up to 2.0GHz. To maximize versatility, it supports WQHD at 180Hz and 4K up to 120Hz to provide stunning visuals, along with dual active display support for foldable smartphones, while a 5G R16 modem supports 4CC-CA Sub-6GHz as well as 8CC-CA mmWave with MediaTek’s UltraSave 3.0+ technology. The first smartphones with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 are set to arrive by the end of 2023.

The all-electric Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer wagon was teased today, and it’s set to launch next year in Europe. There may still be things that will change aesthetically between this prototype and the production version, which explains the camouflage wrap based on the multi-layer paint of the ID.7 limousine.

Technical specifications have yet to be revealed, but we do know that if there are five people aboard, the ID.7 Tourer has a boot volume of up to 545 liters, loaded up to the height of the rear seat backrest. When the rear seat is folded down, the volume of the almost two-meter-long cargo space can rise to up to 1,714 liters.

Available December 1st, the LEGO Icons Natural History Museum (10326) is the company’s largest modular set yet with 4,014 pieces. This two-story model features dual atriums, a removable roof / middle floor, and a plethora of brick-built exhibits.

As you enter the museum, visitors are welcomed by a giant Brachiosaurus skeleton whose neck is so large that it rises above the first floor and stretches into the second. Smaller exhibits, including a sabretooth skull, a fossil, and dinosaur eggs, can be seen on either side. The museum’s geology section can be found on the landing and it features a vibrant array of quartz, geodes, stalagmites as well as a cutaway of the earth. Set for release on December 5, Sonic Dream Team is basically a 3D action platformer that follows Doctor Eggman who has discovered The Reverie, which is a mysteirous device with the power to manifest dreams in the real world.
