Unitree B2 Fastest Quadruped Robot
Unlike LimX Dynamics’ W1, the Unitree B2 doesn’t have wheels, but it can run at 13.4mph, making it the fastest industrial-grade quadruped robot yet. It also boasts superior obstacle-crossing ability, enabling B2 to easily to cross wood piles, 40cm tall platforms and more.

On a full charge, it’s capable of transporting a load of 44 pounds for over 4 hours or 9.3 miles. Thanks to a 170% increase in joint performance with 266 lb-ft of torque, B2 can offer greater flexibility and stability for industrial operations. For those who do need wheels, B2 does have that option as well.

Sansei Technologies’ SR-02 quadruped walking robot looks like a giant rhinoceros that you can actually ride. The company states that it’s an upgraded version of the world’s first quadruped walking robot ride capable of transporting multiple passengers.

It measures 3.6m (11.8ft) in length, 2.0m (6.6ft) in width and 2.1m (6.9ft) in height, and can walk on four legs while carrying a maximum of 4 passengers. Sansei Technologies specializes in amusement rides, so it’s safe to assume that SR-02 will eventually make its way to at least one theme park. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on if they plan to offer this robot for private sales.

For control software, Asratec’s robot control system ‘V-Sido’ is continuously employed to enable free operation by rider or operator with special controller,” said the company.
