What the iPhone SE 4 Could Look Like When It’s Released Next Year

Apple’s iPhone SE 4 is rumored to be announced in March 2024, but leaks have been sparse thus far. What we have heard is that it should be priced at around $429 – $449 USD and feature USB-C charging, similar to the new iPhone 15 series.

It’s also rumored to get a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Apple’s A16 Bionic processor, an in-house 5G chip, a single rear 48MP camera sensor, a 12MP front-facing selfie camera, and possibly 128GB of internal storage. We know that the iPhone SE 3’s 2,018mAh battery is good for up to 15 hours of video playback, 10 hours streaming online video, and 50 hours for audio playback, so it’s safe to say that the fourth-generation should at least match this. One thing we’d like to see is a smaller notch and slimmer bezels, giving the handset a sleeker appearance compared to its predecessor.

Apple Releases Stop-Motion ‘Fuzzy Feelings’ Holiday Short Film Shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple has just released their ‘Fuzzy Feelings’ holiday short film, which was shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and at least partially edited on an M2 MacBook Air. The message it hopes to convey is that creativity has the power to change the way we see each other, and the world.

Sometimes, all you need is to see things through a new lens to really discover the meaning of the holidays. ‘Fuzzy Feelings’ is centered around a young woman who is an office worker by day and stop-motion artist by night. It switches between live-action and stop-motion imagery, as viewers see her process challenges at work through the stop motion film. For those wondering exactly how it was created, Apple also released a behind-the-scenes featurette (below).

User Orders iPhone 15 Pro Max Directly from Apple, Receives Android Knockoff Instead

When someone orders an iPhone 15 Pro Max directly from Apple UK, the last thing they’d expect to receive is a knockoff, but that is exactly what happened to one Reddit user. After opening the box, a screen protector was discovered to already installed on the handset, which could mean it was a return or refurbished unit.

There were two other things that stood out, with the first being a non-OLED screen and the strange ‘chin’ at the bottom. One the device was turned on, he was greeted with a setup process reminiscent of those found on Android devices. Skipping past that setup process, Edmard found Facebook, Youtube and Tiktok already installed. Some theorize that an employee at a distribution center may have swapped out the original box with this fake device even before it reached the courier, with all original shipping labels intact.

How Apple Shot the ‘Scary Fast’ Event with the iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple fans may not know that the ‘Scary Fast’ event last night was actually shot on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, albeit with expensive, professional-grade studio equipment. The smartphone’s ProRes, Apple Log, and USB-C, along with its low-light capabilities, most certainly helped.

The team used multiple iPhone 15 Pro Max devices to capture the footage and then utilized the integration between iPhone 15 Pro, the Blackmagic Camera app, and Tentacle Sync to showcase the true power of the Apple ecosystem. USB-C provides data transfer with speeds of up to 10Gbps with a compatible USB 3 cable, which enables ProRes video recording directly to an external SSD drive. Jon Carr, an Apple Pro Workflow video specialist whose credits include Top Gun: Maverick and Terminator: Dark Fate, helped advise the production.
