During Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2023, the Honor Magic 6 smartphone was teased and we got a preview of its eye-tracking as well as on-device generative AI. Thanks to the power of Snapdragon Seamless technology, this device is able to offer Magic Eye, an eye-tracking based multimodal interaction, which basically lets you navigate parts of the UI with your eyes.
What is on-device generative AI? Well, it leverages Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s integrated generative AI language models to the Honor Magic 6’s YOYO personal assistant. The large language model (LLM) utilizes up to 7 billion parameters without having to transmit any personal data remotely back to Honor to function properly. This means you’ll get instant answers to question and have the ability to create short videos using photos and footage stored on the smartphone.
