HP OmniBook 800CT Laptop 1997
Back in 1997, the HP OmniBook 800CT laptop would have set you back a hefty $4,750 USD ($9,109 today), and you can still pick one up for around half that on eBay. What really set it apart from the competition was its strange mouse that could be ejected from the right side at the push of a button.

Other features included an Intel Pentium MMX 166 MHz processor, 16MB of EDO RAM, a 4GB HDD, NeoMagic MagicGraph 128ZV graphics card with 2MB of video memory, and up to 3-hours of continuous use when fully charged. This followup to the Omnibook 600 had the system software loaded on an internal hard disk (under the right side of the front of the keyboard), rather than on a PCMCIA hard disk.
