Japan-based HW Electro debuts their solar-electric Puzzle microvan, and it’s set to hit the US in 2025. Not just a standard car, the HWE Puzzle can also function as a mobile power source in case of a disaster, complete with a WiFi hotspot function that anyone can use.
With a maximum load capacity of 770 pounds, the HWE Puzzle measures 11.1 feet long, 4.8 feet wide, and stands 6.3 feet tall. Roof-mounted solar panels ensure that both the vehicle as well as other devices can stay charged in case of an emergency. For added safety, the vehicle also includes a crowbar and first-aid kit.
