It’s official, the Apple MacBook Pro lineup has just gotten an M3 chip refresh. Set for release on November 7th, the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max are the first personal computer chips built using Taiwan Semiconductor’s industry-leading 3-nanometer technology.
All three chips deliver the biggest leap forward in graphics architecture ever for Apple silicon, thanks to a breakthrough technology called Dynamic Caching. This enables the GPU to allocate local hardware memory in real time so only the exact amount needed is used for each task, thus dramatically increasing GPU utilization and performance for the most demanding applications. The base 14″ MacBook Pro M3 starts at just $1,599 USD and is 60 percent faster than the 13‑inch M1 MacBook Pro.
