DIY Walnut Bluetooth Speaker
You could go flashy with the Louis Vuitton Horizon, or a bit more inconspicuous with this walnut turned fully-functional Bluetooth speaker. Penguin DIY used a real walnut, consumed the kernel, and then proceeded to add several modules including amplifiers, speakers, as well as a rechargeable battery.

Want to make your own? You’ll need an MH-MH18 Bluetooth audio module, HXJ8002 mini audio amplifier, LEDs, a 5V ST6845 power bank module, and a USB-C connector. The MH-M18 and HXJ8002 modules were soldered together to to power the speaker, while four buttons that activate over different resistance values enable onboard control from a single input. Lastly, a star-shaped pattern was made in the walnut shell to act as speaker holes. Let’s just say that you’ll definitely need some experience with electronics to successfully build your own walnut Bluetooth speaker.
