N64’s Perfect Dark was originally released on May 22, 2020 in North American, and now, a high-definition PC port by Github user ‘fgsfdsfgs’ can be downloaded. This version is mostly functional with both single-player and split-screen multiplayer modes working, although there are a few minor graphics as well as gameplay-related issues that users may experience.
If you’ve never played the game, it’s essentially a first-person shooter where players complete levels to unlock content and progress through the game’s storyline. Sure, there’s already an Xbox 360 remaster (2010) of Perfect Dark, but this PC port supports mouse and keyboard control. One requirement is that you already have the Perfect Dark ROM before running the executable file. Download it here now.
Currently only 32-bit platforms are supported, namely x86 Windows and Linux. Note that 32-bit binaries will still work on 64-bit versions of those platforms, though you might have to install some additional libraries,” said the developer.
