Game Boy Color Speedometer Mod
There are Thumby Game Boy earrings, and then this functional speedometer made from a Game Boy Color. Put simply, the hardware consists of just a basic $25 GPS module that you can find on Amazon or other online retailers.

Since the hardware is just a basic GPS module, it can only tell you the speed when driving, while an OBD version that plugs directly into the vehicle’s ECU can display much more information. Other than having to use a dremel to cut the Game Boy Color’s shell, installing the hardware is straightforward and should not take more than a few hours.
